As we all know, Preston is the best taste tester for my homemade dog treats, and he just loves these – either as a l’il snifkin, or broken up and stuffed in his favorite ball. I especially like this recipe because there’s no dough to roll or cookie cutters to use—just mix, scoop, flatten, and bake. They’re simple to make, easy to portion, and always earn an enthusiastic tail wag.

This recipe uses dog-friendly ingredients, but always introduce new foods slowly and in moderation. Avoid onion, garlic, chocolate, grapes, raisins, xylitol (can be found in some peanut butters and other sugar-free products), and excess salt. - Unsweetened Applesauce
- Parmesan Cheese

How to Make oat and applesauce dog treats:
STEP 1: Prepare.
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
STEP 2: Combine.
Combine the oats, applesauce, and Parmesan in a medium bowl. Mix until well incorporated.
STEP 3: Bake.
Scoop the mixture into 1- to 1½-inch balls and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each ball gently with the bottom of a drinking glass. Bake for 15–17 minutes. Cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Instructions
